She continued to meet for breakfast and birthday luncheons with “the Curves girls” even after they closed. She also visited homes for the elderly where she would play her trumpet to bring encouragement. She also generously gave her time and talents by volunteering for a variety of Christian ministries including Camp Pattersonville and Youth for Christ. Marjorie was an active member of First Presbyterian Church in Schenectady for 74 years and faithfully attended Sunday worship and Wednesday prayer services every week. She was a graduate of Scotia High School and Trinity Bible College in Minneapolis, MN and worked in accounting at General Electric in Schenectady until she retired.
